tid + bits.

*the last couple weeks i've been trying to think of fun projects to do over the summer. the first one was to repaint one of our bookshelves. and i am quite pleased with how it turned out!

* here it is before. plain brown. (notice my mother's cute overalls. perfect paint clothes!)

* and this is the finished product! you can't really tell but i sanded the edges and took a little wood finish to it to make it look a little more antique. a good tutorial for it is found here.

  * this week i took some senior pictures. i used to babysit this kid... time sure does fly.
congrats jordan!

* anyone heard of tiffany alvord? seriously - i'm obsessed with this girl! thinking about investing in her album..

* after searching for some pictures yesterday, i found this gem from our wedding. geez, that was a splendid day. can't we just have another wedding? yes, ours was completely magical, but pinterest has sparked in me some great new ideas... am i the only one with this "disease"?

* did you notice the new header? found the font here. and i mean if you like it enough - i could always design yours for free! i'm no expert, but it sure is fun.
let me know - with all this extra time i have, i'll get right on it :)

have a wonderful thursday!

  1. I was actually noticing how great your header is! You must be quite the computer girl, I swear I can't figure out anything tha has to do with blog design- always such a headache for me. the book shelf looks great- my friend just did a rocking horse in the same style- I have so much admiration for crafty people.
